Nonviolent Atonement Seminar Friday, May

Denny Weaver, Sharon Baker, and Michael Hardin How can we begin to guide the church away from concepts of
a wrathful God and into the arms of the loving, merciful God of Jesus? Experience a full day of interactive
dialogue with key writers and proponents of this view of the saving work of

Progressive Dinner Saturday, May
17, 2008 The JOYful Servers are hosting a Progressive Dinner on
Saturday, May 17. We would like to
invite you all to join us on this fun-filled evening where the first forty
people to sign up will be able to take advantage of St. Andrew’s favorite
activity -- EATING! We will go from home to home, beginning
with appetizers, then on to soup, then salad. Our main course will be served
at Fellowship Hall and we will end with delicious desserts along with coffee
or tea. The cost for this dinner is $10 per person. If anyone who is not on the JOYful Servers Team would like
to host one of these courses we would be delighted. Please see Shirley Metzger or Joan

Youth Lock-In at Saint Andrew’s May 30-31,
2008 All Senior
High Youth are invited for a lock-in starting at 6 p.m. Friday, May 30th. We
will watch movies, play games, go to midnight bowling, and sleep over Friday
night. Saturday we’ll do a Service
Project and have noon lunch of Stromboli made by our own famous

August 3, 2008 We are looking forward to an exciting VBS program this
summer. The theme is “Power Lab” . Join us as we discover Jesus’ miraculous power to be
thankful, help others, be brave, live forever, and tell others about
God. Sign-up sheets are located in the
